Purpose and availability

Lantern & Leaf Stories Publisher is a local tool operated by the owner of Lantern & Leaf Stories. It is currently in development and limited to an authorised private technical upload. It is not a public upload service, paid subscription or downloadable product offered through this website.

This website provides information only. It does not let visitors connect Google accounts, upload files, access private stories or control the operator’s computer.

Authorised use

The operator must hold the necessary rights and permissions for uploaded videos, images, music, narration and metadata, and must comply with applicable law and YouTube’s policies. The operator is responsible for audience settings, rights disclosures, descriptions and publication decisions.

Do not use the tool to impersonate others, misrepresent ownership, bypass access restrictions or evade Google or YouTube limits.

YouTube’s terms

The publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using the publisher, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. The publisher’s own practices are described in our Privacy policy.

Google and YouTube control their service availability, permissions, quotas, verification and compliance-audit decisions. This tool is not endorsed or certified by Google or YouTube.

Private uploads and controls

The current test is private-only. Automatic production-story uploads and public releases are not enabled. An uploaded file is not proof that it has passed editorial review or that it is ready to publish.

The owner can pause, safely resume or cancel the local upload workflow. Cancelling or revoking access does not necessarily undo a request already accepted by YouTube and does not remove an existing YouTube video. The owner manages existing videos in YouTube Studio.

Development limitations

Transfers can be delayed by connectivity, account authorisation, channel limits, processing failures or computer availability. The current test does not promise uninterrupted uploads, permanent storage, a publication time or Google approval. Keep appropriate independent backups of source material.

Before wider deployment, the operator must complete and verify the outstanding functionality and data-retention work described in the privacy notice. These terms do not remove rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
